98% Pass rate for Scottburgh High School!

The school had an overall pass rate of 98 percent, of which 86 percent were bachelor passes.

WELL done to Scottburgh High School’s matrics of 2017 who received their end of year examination results last Friday and did exceptionally well.

The school had an overall pass rate of 98 percent, of which 86 percent were bachelor passes. Hard work leads to success, and this was evident when 13 pupils produced more than one A symbols.

Top achievers in the school are Fernando Fernandez Gomez with eight As and Sanam Brijraj and Phumelele Sithembile Mngoma who both produced seven As.

Top pupil, Fernando, will most likely study actuarial sciences at the University Of Free State, but hopes to get the opportunity to study odontology in the near future.

Producing such outstanding achievements came by following a set study routine for him.

“My routine started early in the year and I worked consistently throughout; making notes after every chapter and frequently revising them really helps it stick; taking frequent breaks, but working conscientiously without distraction was a key aspect to my study routine; a balanced diet and exercise was also essential,” Fernando explained, “And remember, he who perseveres, triumphs.
