Scottburgh High School prides itself in the level of commitment and enthusiasm shown, by learners and coaches alike on the sporting front. This tradition of sporting excellence has included International Sportsmen and Sportswomen as well as numerous South African School representatives from many different disciplines. Both past and present greats include Tim Clark (Golf) and Chloë Tryon (SA Women’s Cricket).

Much of Scottburgh High’s success lies not only in the fact that we offer a wide variety of sporting activities and excellent facilities in which these young, aspiring sportsmen and sportswomen are able to develop their skills, but also in the fact that sport is encouraged as part of the greater educational process.

Awards are given to learners who achieve highly in these various codes. Awards include, team awards, half colours, full colours and honours. Our learners play all codes of sport with a gusty determination and live up to the motto of our school
